[Course] [Masterclass] David Carson Teaches Graphic Design

David Carson, editorial design by Karen Hilton on Behance I have a MasterClass subscription for a while now and I finaly took the plunge into this Graphic Design course.  Course on MasterClass , 2h 7 min.  Some ideas that I wrote down. If everybod likes your work it's probably not great, you need some people not liking your creations. Graphic design is mostly very clean, proportional, and it gets boring. Graphic design needs it's rebels, that ask why can't this be this other way? Do art things to get your message across, not just for recogntion or financial retribution. Use YOUR intuition, YOUR experience and skills are unique. Make people start noticing again, make them curious to come closer, read the fine print. Make things your own, have some ownership, do things no one else will do but you. Don't "snap to guidelines", don't let the computer do the decisions for you. We want your mind, not your software.   I decided to enroll on a course about embroidery on domestika.org , they are short courses at a good price, only 19 lei per course. M-am înscris la cursul de 5 săptămâni de Grafica Publicitara Nivel II Avansat de la  Avantaj Consulting . Pret 920 lei. A început pe 12 Decembrie 2022 si a durat 5 saptamani. Cursurile au avut loc, cu câteva excepții, lunea și marțea între orele 18:00-20:30. Am ales cursul de avansați, era si o varianta pentru incepatori, pentru ca am considerat ca știu noțiunile de baza despre Corel si Photoshop. Cursul a avut loc pe Skype, cu share screen si microphone, nu si video. Cursurile au fost si inregistrate si am putut sa le descarcam. Am fost 3 cursanti. I've started the Course on Udemy  Graphic Design Masterclass Intermediate | Lindsay Marsh . In this article you will find the student assignments I did.  I liked the course very much, + it approaches different fields of graphic design: photo editing, logo design, isometric design, packaging design, ad design + has a lot of examples of design + has a lot of student projects Photos from pexels.com and pixabay.com .  2.1. Object removal using Photoshop > Select Subject > Content Aware Fill and tweaks 2.2. Building a photo composite 3. creating shadow 4. Creating a poster for a hamburger / fast food restaurant. What did I learn from  Blogging Masterclass: How To Build A Successful Blog In 2021  by Brad Merrill on udemy.com , 3,5 hours of video content, 10,99 euro.  + There is a big difference between wordpress.org / wordpress.com , the first being free, the later not.  + check BuzzSumo.com for relevant articles on a subject + check Quora.com to learn what questions are trending in your niche. I searched for fashion and style topics and I was disappointed on what I found, people asking about perfect miniskirts, this is the interest? really? so Quora.com is a bit outdated, or the fashion audience is not there or.. I don't know. + check forums and Facebook/ LinkedIn groups of your niche for ideas of content. Always read the groups rules and follow them. Give quality content before you try to sell/ promote yourself.  + look for niche round-ups you could fit in and approach the owner of the article and let him now you exist by telling him about a valuable content you have...
